Site Manager

He/she will be in charge of the technical and economic management, guaranteeing the achievements of the aims described by the contract. He/she will have to arrange the organization and management of the tasks and the resources (workers, materials, plants and equipment) necessary to realize the endeavor.

Primary responsibilities
  • coordinate, in support with the Project Manager, the planning and realization of all tasks in accordance to what agreed in the contract and guaranteeing the reaching of all technical-economic aims decided for the order.
  • elaborate, together with the Project Manager and the Administration, Finance and control Manager, the specific budget/forecast for the order, contributing therefore to the analysis of possible deviations and to the necessary action which must be taken in order to guarantee the correct outcome of the order itself.
  • define and modernize the planning/programming of tasks of the resources necessary for the activities, verifying their compliance and eventually undertaking corrective measures to eliminate or reduce possible deviations.
  • support the Project Manager in the choice of the equipment, machinery and systems which are used in the tasks.
  • assure, together with the Quality Manager and in compliance with the contract’s directives, the correct carrying out of the production activities, its control and managing eventual nonconformities found.
  • guarantee job accounting and the periodical progress, in compliance with the methods and procedures stated in the contract.
  • support the Project Manager in the formulation of contractual variants and/or in eventual claims.
  • manage relationships with local Agencies and Authorities within their remit, as well as relationship with the Works’ Supervisor and other client’s representatives.
  • manage the on-site staff, in compliance with the Company’s guidelines and with local regulations measures.
  • assure, during its activity, the respect and the following of quality, environment and emergency dispositions.
Skill/Experience
  • At least 3/5 years of experience as Site Manager with building plans tasks;
  • Civil engineering Degree
  • Excellent English proficiency both written and spoken and/or of spanish proficiency. italian will be a plus

Project Superintendent

Assists the Site Manager in coordinating field operations for large scale, fast tracked projects with a commitment to quality & safe construction processes.

Requirements
  • Possess a working knowledge & understanding of logistics and scheduling.
  • Participates in the formulation of sub-scopes & Exhibit A's & subcontractor de-scopes.
  • Responsible for reporting cost codes and daily labor units.
  • Responsible for the daily reports & reporting of any job specific impacts that may occur regarding time delay, scheduling conflicts & or cost implications to the General Superintendent.
  • Manages & monitors construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs and company quality & safety standards.
  • Supervises and monitors the performance of area superintendents.
  • Prepares labor production budget & establishes & maintains labor control in coordination with superintendents & reviews cost reports with General Superintendent.
  • Interfaces with General Superintendent to settle any union jurisdictional disputes that may arise. Works cooperatively & proactively to maintain labor union relations.
  • Monitors schedule with General Superintendent & Project Engineers. Assigns work to field personnel.
  • Reports labor time & signs timesheets.
  • Prepares & reviews & initials Daily Construction Reports.
  • Schedules safety meetings and administers jobsite mobilization.
  • Participates in preconstruction meetings.
  • Reviews & verified weekly quantities.
  • Coordinates special inspections as required.
  • Ensures subcontractors follow Safety Procedures
  • Demonstrates full & current knowledge of all OSHA Safety requirements & maintains compliance with these requirements on the job site at all times.
  • Communicates job status to Project Manager and other management team members on a regular basis.
  • Represents Company at all times with professionalism & a commitment to quality.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills / Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years in field construction management or related field
  • Experience in hi-rise required.
  • 4 year degree in Engineering or related field is desired. A combination of education and work experience will be considered. Proven jobsite knowledge & performance
  • Excellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, cost control schedules & safety
  • Ability to work independently while working in a strong team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervision;
  • Proficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform.
  • Basic knowledge of Prolog software desired
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • English proficiency both written and spoken and/or of Spanish proficiency. Italian will be a plus.

Project Accountant

monitors the progress of projects, investigates variances, approves expenses, and ensures that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.

Typical duties
  • Work with Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Project Controllers and Job Site Office managers to facilitate maintenance of PO and Subcontractor
  • Assist in maintaining job cost reporting and structure
  • Setup and Maintain Job Cost Master File
  • Assist Project Manager in maintaining the total Job Cost Report.
  • Monitor that quantities are entered weekly from jobsites
  • Assist with the completion of needed reports per deadlines
  • Prepare Weekly Labor Reports.
  • Verify signatures and signing authority
  • Prepare weekly labor reporting to Management
Job Skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills, exceptional writing, spelling and grammar skills.
  • Must be detail orientated, dependable, consistent, diligent and conscientious.
  • Able to work well with others, receive direction, multi task and work independently.
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
